Must-See Exhibits at CNE

210 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3   The CNE takes place at the Exhibition Place each year in Toronto, Canada. It was founded in 1879. The "EX" brings in 1.5 million visitors every summer for 18 days in August.  Attractions, food, and shopping. I go to the EX every year. It's that one day you're okay to overpay for everything...  This is every food lovers dream, hundreds of unique finds to line up for. Here's a couple of pictures from my experience of the years.  Drink a Fruit from a Fruit (August 2015) Drink fruit from a pineapple, watermelon, or coconut! The pineapple one is my favourite. One of the most popular attractions at the CNE. Lines are long, but definitely worth it. Real Fruit Splash (August 2016) Fruit Shaken with Ice.  This vendor will be back with 4 new locations this summer. Mohito, Strawberry, Raspberry , or Lemonade infused drinks. I love the Raspberry. Touring the Dam

Nevada's Hoover Dam (August 2016) When travelling to Vegas touring Hoover Dam and Lake Mead is a must.  Located in Boulder City, Nevada (30 miles from Las Vegas), lies a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. Pictured above is the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Memorial Bridge which  protects the border between Arizona and Nevada. Hoover Dam Power Plant The power plant protects the dam by supplying hydroelectric power and flood control. Men Building the Dam Construction to build the dam started in 1933.  Prompted by the Great Depression thousands of men left their homes promised employment. Over 100 reported deaths were caused by falling objects and heat exhaustion (119 degrees Fahrenheit / 48 degrees Celsius).  All Aboard the Desert Princess The Desert Princess is a three-level paddle-wheeler that holds 275 passengers. Part 2 of my day trip to Boulder City was touring Lake Mead, the highest reservoir in the United States. 

Learning Google Analytics

Metric Metric refers to attributes of your data (i.e. city).  I  can compare different metrics such as total number of sessions versus total number of page views by hour, day, week, or month. Dimension A dimension (i.e. sessions) is a quantitative measurement  Google Analytics  Google A nalytics  is  for tracking web traffic (e-commerce,  social networking sites like  YouTube ). Setting up Google Analytics on my  Blog ger   lets me  track audience demographics and  behaviour ,  which includes the total number of visitors, geography, devices used, duration of visit, etc .  It monitors user engagement and helps to increase conversion rates.

Hello San Diego!

San Diego Harbor California (December 2016) Not a cloud in the sky. At Seaport Village capturing the beautiful reflection of downtown San Diego. This was my first time visiting Cali and I enjoyed every minute of it. I stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel (largest hotel on the waterfront). Top of the Hyatt My view. 40 stories above San Diego Bay lies a rooftop lounge and bar. Enjoyed some chocolate fondue with homemade marshmallow, marble cake, and strawberries.  Chocolate Fondue What could be better?
